Kerala police issues notice to Dileep for hiring private security

Kerala police have issued a notice to actor Dileep seeking an explanation about entrusting his security with the private agency. The police have also asked the actor to submit the licence, permission or licence to use arms and weapons and the copy of the contract Dileep had entered with the agency. The actor will have to hand over the papers by Monday. 

Dileep has entered into a contract with Thunder Force Ltd, a personal security agency based in Goa. As per reports, three security personnel will accompany the actor wherever he goes. It is suspected that there is a security threat to the actor after he got arrested for his alleged involvement in the actress attack.

Kerala police are of the opinion that they have not received any reports that the life of the actor is under threat. The police had taken the car of the Thunder Force into custody. The security agency has over 100 employees in Kerala and is functioning in the state for past four years.

Retired IPS officer P A Valsan is in-charge of the agency in Kerala since March 2017. The agency has an office in Thrissur and Palakkad districts. According to the website of

Thunder Force, it has the required papers and licenses to use arms and weapons. Over 1000 retired military officers work as security personnel with the agency. 

Dileep is the first celebrity to appoint a private agency for security. Other than him, three business persons too have sought the help of private agencies for their security.
