Sashi Pujari's body was not cremated because of rain but as per the tradition his body was cremated in flooded waters
Sashi Pujari of Kambalkatte, Udupi district in Karnataka, died due to illness on Saturday (July 7). As heavy rains disrupted normal life, his body could not be cremated. But as the family didn't want to keep the mortal remains at home as per their tradition, they decided to cremate the body in flooded waters itself.
