MES-supported ZP member Saraswathi Patil has given an open declaration, in public, that Marathi speaking women should take up swords to teach a lesson to Karnataka government.

Saraswathi Patil has said that Karnataka has been subjecting Marathi people to atrocities in the Karnataka-Maharashtra border areas. Hence she gave a public call to all Marathi speaking women to take up swords to teach a lesson to Karnataka government.

She was speaking at a program organised by MES to pay condolence to the martyrs of border agitation force at the Martyrs Circle at Hindalaga village, Belgaum. Saraswathi Patil used the occasion to run down Karnataka government.
