The police personnel had raided a centre, where people were playing cards. It can be noted that playing cards after the Ugadi festival celebrations are being projected as a ritual for many years now. People are seen putting up tents to organise Ugadi card games.
However, the police personnel, most of the times, are seen apathetic towards the incident and do not conduct raids.
However, the two policemen decided to take on people who were indulged in illegal gambling through cards and instead were beaten up themselves.
Thus, even the police, who try to take action against the promoters of illegal activities, are not safe in Bengaluru.
