Sitting MLA and Malleshwaram BJP candidate for Karnataka Assembly elections, Ashwath Narayan, told that Yeddyurappa's speech of trying hands of legs of people was not intentional. All he wanted was to bring people to the polling stating and make them vote. The message behind it was to just convince people to vote and need not be taken literally. No hands and legs can be tied, it meant to get more people to the polling booths.
