  • Thus Karnataka has got 14.75 TMC water more than the earlier agreement
  • Tamil Nadu has been asked to consider 20 TMC groundwater in the state, accordingly Tami Nadu can now draw additional 10 tmcft 'groundwater' from total of 20 tmcft beneath Cauvery basin

  • Bengaluru to receive additional 4.75 TMC of drinking water, this water will be released from the additional 14.75 TMC water given to Karnataka
  • The verdict is applicable for 15 years, stated Supreme Court

  • Tamil Nadu government has refused to give any statements with regard to the Cauvery verdict
