BJP leader Eshwarappas Rayanna Brigade members to join Congress

A meeting of relatively tensed BJP leader Eshwarappa's brainchild Rayanna Brigade members was held at a private hospital in Bengaluru.

It can be remembered that the BJP high command had clearly asked Eshwarappa to stay away from Brigade activities. Thus till recently, the Brigade was silent, but now there are all signs of it getting active.

However, Eshwarappa gave the meeting a miss, but a rumour that Rayanna Brigade members are planning to join Congress is making the rounds, and this surely is news of worry to Eshwarappa and the BJP brigade.

Last week, the Brigade members had warned of re-starting their activities against the advice of the BJP top leaders including Eshwarappa.

In addition, the Brigade members are said to be angry with BJP district In charge Muralidhar Rao. The same Brigade was the reason for growing distance between BS Yeddyurappa and Eshwarappa. But Yeddyurappa recently was heard saying that he and Eshwarappa are like brothers and there are no differences between the both.

Has Eshwarappa and Yeddyurappa joining hands made the Brigade leaders angry? However, so far there is no official confirmation from BJP nor from Congress about the Brigade members joining the Congress. But the speculations are rife and Eshwarappa's absence from the meeting held in Bengaluru might just a sign that there might be some truth in the speculations.
