Bengaluru floods again 62 MM rain fall claims four lives

A huge tree uprooted and fell on grey Esteem car with the number plate KA 02 N. 0771 was crushed. Three including one woman is said to have killed near Minnerva CIrcle. The victims have been identified as Bharathi, 38, Ramesh, 42 and Jagadish, 48.                      

18-year-old Varun is said to have drowned at Sheshadripuram near Shivanada Circle underpass. Bengaluru Mayor G Padmavathi visited the spot and had sought information.

The public was seen taking the mayor to task for failing to protect the citizens from the woes of rains. As many of the BBMP projects are still pending as the rains are lashing the city. This has left many drainages open, pits on the roads etc., inconveniencing people.
