The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 is nearing its conclusion. The Playoff is upon us and four teams - Mumbai Indians (MI), Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have made it to the final four.
Now these four teams are going to battle it out for the coveted IPL trophy. MI and RPS will play the Qualifier 1 and SRH will lock horns with KKR in the Eliminator. Things have become much more serious than it was during the league stage.
The teams are going to mean business now and all of them will try and showcase their best game. However, many of these sides will be depleted because a number of overseas players have gone back for their respective national duties. But that will not stop them from giving their best in each and every game them play from Tuesday.
Here are top 10 players to watch out for in the IPL 2017 Playoffs:
## David Warner -- With 604 runs in 13 matches, the Australian has by far been the best batsman of the IPL 2017. He is likely to continue with his rich vein of form that he has been in right from the start of the tournament.
## Steve Smith -- Skipper of the Rising Pune Supergiant has led from the front. With 420 runs, he is in the 5th place in that highest run-getter's list. He will look to score some more to help his team's cause for sure.
## Gautam Gambhir -- Talk about composure, very few can showcase like him. The southpaw has been at his sublime best in this IPL and he too would like to add more to his name in the Eliminator against SRH.
## Chris Lynn -- One would wonder, if Lynn would have played all the 14 matches for KKR, he probably would have climbed to the top of that tree. The right-hander has threatened his opponents every time he has come out to bat.
## Kieron Pollard -- Believe it or not, the big West Indian is the highest run-scorer for Mumbai Indians. The most important thing about him is that he has delivered in crucial matches. He would look to emulate his form in the playoffs as well.
## Jasprit Bumrah -- Talk about bowling at the death, no one can rule this young bloke out. Bumrah has done exceptionally well in the IPL.
## Bhuvneshwar Kumar -- He has bagged 25 wickets at an incredible average of 14. That can be considered as incredible in T20 cricket. With his variations at the depth, he has by far been the best bowler of the tournament.
## Rashid Khan -- What a revelation this Afghan youngster has been! His prowess with the leg spinners in the powerplay overs has been one of the reasons for success for SRH.
## Kuldeep Yadav -- He has been economical and as picked up wickets as and when Gambhir has thrown the ball at him. Watch out for a few more in the Playoffs.
## Jaidev Unadkat -- The left-arm seamer has picked up wickets in every game he has played and is the second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament. He also has a hat-trick to his name.
