West Bengal: Mystery surrounds massive fire outbreak in Gangasar market; 10 shops burnt

Massive fire breaks out at Gangasagar market. Ten shops inside the market were burnt. The flames engulfed the shops in the market. Panic spread in the market premises due to the incident. Firefighters and police arrived at the spot to control the situation. However, the cause of the massive fire outbreak inside the market is a mystery.

The incident took place at a market near Kapilmuni Ashram in Gangasagar. The locals saw black dense smoke coming out of the market. The devastating fire spread in the entire market area. The fire outbreak was so terrible that panic spread in the surrounding area. Before the fire brigade arrived, local residents and traders tried to extinguish the fire. Later, a fire engine arrived at the spot and brought the fire under control in about three hours.

However, it is still not yet known how the massive fire outbreak took place in the market. The fire brigade is investigating whether there was a short circuit that led to the fire outbreak in the market.

The traders have claimed that more than 30 lakh rupee properties have been damaged due to the fire in the shops of the market. They allege that there is a conspiracy behind the fire. The fire brigade and Gangasagar Coastal Police have started investigation based on the allegations of the traders.
