The Minister reportedly added that the collected amount will be deposited in the party's account for party-related work.

Her opinion comes following the delay and impact on her schedule as hundreds of supporters started to take selfies one after the other.

Thakur expressed that any person who wishes to click a selfie with her should first deposit Rs 100 into the account of the party's local Mandal segment.

Apart from this, taking the example of PM Modi who once said that 'instead of giving flower bouquets to guests at events, books should be given as it will enhance one's knowledge', the woman Minister also echoed similar sentiments and said flowers only should be offered to Lord Vishnu as Godesses Lakshmi resides in them.
