A tweet by India's foreign minister Sushma Swaraj stating the blatantly obvious has gone viral on social media.

The Union External Minister Swaraj is known to be quite active on the micro-blogging platform - Twitter, where she is famous for going out of her way to help the needy.

But on Monday, she got a rather tricky problem to solve when a man named Venkat tweeted to the minister requesting her help to force Samsung India to repair his fridge. To this, Sushma replied: "Brother I cannot help you in matters of a Refrigerator. I am very busy with human beings in distress. [sic]"

Her reply since then has gone viral on Twitter, with many praising the minister while some poking fun at the man. "What are you smoking dude???? [sic]" asked a Twitterati, suggesting that man was probably high on pot. 

A few also used the opportunity to ask of her help to get their "Kindle" replaced

Venkat in his tweet told the minister that Samsung India had delivered a defective refrigerator and that the company was refusing to replace it. In his tweet post, he also added the serial number of his fridge along with the message sent to him by the company and asked the minister to look into the matter.

“Please look into this issue. they delivered defective product and it stopped working in two months,” he tweeted. 

However, not everything went so bad for Venkat in the end as soon as the post went viral Samsung India put a reply on his post stating that the company is looking into the matter.
