Police detained two men for allegedly assaulting and humiliating a young man from Rajasthan's Barmer, including forcing him to drink urine and eat dog waste. The man was allegedly subjected to inhuman torture over a personal dispute. The incident reportedly occurred on March 26 in Logon Ki Dhani village under the Sheo police station limits.

The victim, Devi Singh, an employee at a solar company, was confronted by a group of youths who accused him of storing photos and chats related to girls from their family on his mobile phone.
The attackers allegedly thrashed him, smeared his face with black paint, and forcibly cut his hair. The victim was then allegedly forced to drink urine and eat dog waste.
Barmer ASP Nitesh Arya revealed that a 43-second video clip captures the victim sitting on the ground with his face blackened, while the accused — filming the act — force him to consume the filth. The footage reportedly shows him resisting and appearing to vomit.
The case came to light only after the video went viral, prompting police action. Police detained the main accused, Prakash Singh, along with his associate Vijay Dan, while efforts are underway to track down others involved.
Police said the victim did not initially file a complaint but approached them after the video surfaced. A case has now been registered based on a complaint by his family.
Preliminary findings suggest that a WhatsApp conversation between the victim and a girl may have triggered the confrontation.
