Astrologer Swami Yogeshwarananda Giri’s old prediction of a rare planetary alignment signaling a global war and India’s golden era goes viral amid rising India-Pakistan tensions.
An old prediction by astrologer Swami Yogeshwarananda Giri, linking a rare planetary alignment in May to a possible global war and India's rise to a golden era, has gone viral amid growing tensions between India and Pakistan.
Planetary Alignment Linked to Global Conflict
In a video that resurfaced recently, Swami Yogeshwarananda Giri explained that a planetary alignment forming around May 30 resembles configurations seen during the time of the Mahabharat or other major historical wars. He emphasized that the prediction is grounded in astronomical calculations, not mere speculation.
“A planetary equation is forming around May 30. Astrologically, this position of six planets resembles formations seen during the time of Mahabharat or large wars in the past. This is mathematical,” he said on The Ranveer Show Hindi.
He further clarified that the prediction isn’t a subjective opinion, but a result of scientific observation.
“These are formulas. You can do it yourself. It’s not just about someone saying it,” he added.
India's Golden Age Predicted
While the prediction touches on global conflict, Swami also claimed that the celestial event will mark the beginning of a golden period for India.
"At least I can say this is the golden period for India. India is absolutely at its peak," he said.
He referred to well-known Indian thinkers and leaders like Aurobindo, Vivekananda, and Abdul Kalam, who also envisioned India's rise on the world stage.
"Aurobindo said this, Vivekananda said this, and our President Abdul Kalam—who was a scientist—also said these things from a scientific basis," Swami noted.
Swami believes the signs of India's potential are already visible, urging people to open their minds to the possibilities.
"Now if you’ve closed your eyes and have a prejudiced mind, and don’t even want to see, then only God can help you. I can see these things happening."
Viral Video Amid Escalating India-Pakistan Tensions
The video has gained significant attention as tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated in recent weeks. After the deadly attack on Indian tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, India launched a targeted air strike codenamed ‘Operation Sindoor’ against nine terror camps in Pakistan and PoJK. Officials stated the strike was "precise and limited," aiming to neutralize planned terror operations allegedly linked to groups in Pakistan.
On Thursday late night, India thwarted Pakistan's attempt to target military stations in Jammu, Pathankot, Udhampur, and other locations with missiles and drones, as tensions escalated between the two nations, raising concerns of a broader military conflict.
War as a Cosmic Reset
Swami further explained that the possibility of war shouldn’t be seen as mere destruction but as a necessary cosmic reset. He drew on teachings from the Bhagavad Gita, explaining that war, in this context, is a form of yagna or sacrifice.
“War is also a type of yagna. Yagna means sacrifice. Krishna says in Chapter 18 of the Gita: Yagna, daan, and tapas must never be abandoned.”
He elaborated on his view of war as a disruption needed to break stagnation in systems that have become artificially peaceful.
“Everything is frozen. You need to apply heat to melt it. War is a feature of that.”
India's Role on the Global Stage
Wrapping up his statement, Swami made a bold prediction about India’s future position in global politics.
“India will dominate. India is coming to the United Nations with veto power. India is going to have a lead position in the UN very soon.”
