Kerala gold smuggling case: ED says Swapna Suresh was appointed with CM Pinarayi Vijayan's knowledge

Thiruvananthapuram: A new twist took place in the Thiruvananthapuram gold smuggling case. The charge sheet submitted by the Enforcement Directorate stated that Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan was aware of Swapna Suresh's appointment in Space Park.
The charge sheet added that gold smuggling case accused Swapna Suresh was appointed as she was trusted by the principal secretary of the chief minister, M Sivasankar.
According to reports, the charge sheet also mentioned that Swapna and Sivasankar met many times and added that the duo also met in the presence of the Kerala chief minister.

Sivasankar involved in Swapna's financial transactions:
Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has demanded a detailed investigation against M Sivasankar in the Thiruvananthapuram gold smuggling case. In a charge sheet filed by the ED, it stated that Sivasankar is involved in financial transactions of the accused in the gold smuggling case, Swapna Suresh.
