Karnataka MLA Narayan Rao succumbs to COVID-19
Karnataka MLA and Congress leader Narayan Rao succumbed to COVID-19 on September 24. Narayan Rao was admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru on September 1.
Bengaluru: Basavakalyan MLA and Congress leader Narayan Rao succumbed to COVID-19 on September 24.
The MLA was infected by COVID-19 and had suffered multi-organ failures leading to death.
The 58-year-old MLA was admitted to Manipal Hospital in Bengaluru on September 1 after testing positive for COVID-19.
Narayan Rao was admitted to the ICU on September 22 as his oxygen levels had dropped. He was put on life support on Wednesday after he suffered a multi-organ failure.
Manipal Hospital Director Manish Rai said on Wednesday that a multi-disciplinary team was monitoring his condition.

A few weeks ago, Narayan Rao attended a meeting with Revenue minister R Ashoka and complained of a fever later.
