Karnataka Election 2023: UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Kannada Star Kiccha Sudeep, Rajnath Singh campaign for BJP

Another BJP star campaigner is Kannada movie star Kichcha Sudeep. The actor kick started campaigning for BJP from Molakalmuru Assembly constituency in Chitradurga district. Speaking to reporters, the actor said that he is very happy about it.

Union Defence Ministers Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeep on Wednesday (April 26) held campaigns in poll-bound Karnataka for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in various parts of the State in run-up to the May 10 assembly election.

While the actor campaigned for the BJP candidate S Thippeswamy from the Molakalmuru Assembly constituency in Chitradurga, the Uttar Pradesh CM campaigned in Mandya.

Addressing the gathering, CM Adityanath said, "Congress talks about development but the reality was that the 5-year schemes which they used to announce used to become a reality only after the scheme’s term ended and soon after it would collapse. When PM Modi keeps the foundation of a scheme, he also inaugurates it."

Meanwhile, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh attacked Congress in Karnataka citing Rajiv Gandhi corruption comment. During the campaigning, Singh said when Rajeev Gandhi was the Prime Minister of India, he himself said the corruption was such that only 25 percent government scheme money reached the people.

He added that Congress could never find a solution for that. Instead, the situation was such that even the then PM had no clue of solution.

However, the actor's chopper was checked by Election Commission as he arrived in Molakalmuru to campaign for the BJP candidate for Karnataka polls 2023.
