Karnataka drugs case: CCB raids late don Muthappa Rai’s residence
The CCB sleuths on Tuesday early morning (October 6) conducted raids at late don Muthappa Rai’s residences in Bengaluru as part of its crackdown against the drug menace. Searches are underway at his houses in Sadashivanagar and Bidadi.
Bengaluru: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) police on Tuesday, raided late don Muthappa Rai’s residences in Bengaluru as part of its crackdown against the drug menace.
Searches are underway at his residences in Sadashivanagar and Bidadi. The CCB sleuths arrived at the late don’s residences at 6am on Tuesday.
It is reported that Muthappa Rai’s son Rikki Rai resides in one of these houses where the searches are being conducted.
The CCB raids are being conducted based on allegations that Muthappa’s son Rikki is associated and is in contact with drug peddlers in the city.
The searches at two residences of the late don is being conducted by a team of CCB sleuths led by Venugopal, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), CCB.
