Dr Anil Mishra, trustee of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, told ANI, "The flag-hoisting ceremony will begin at 11:00 AM. Around 13 senior Bajrang Dal leaders, including Vinay Katiyar, will be present and conduct the ceremony with their blessings." He added that local Bajrang Dal workers, respected saints, local community members and families, totalling around 300 people, will be in attendance.

"From the movement to the present, the organisation has undertaken significant work. Having them conduct the flag-hoisting at the Hanuman Temple will be a historic event," Mishra said.

Ongoing Festivities at Janmabhoomi Complex

The event comes as part of a series of flag-hoisting ceremonies at various temples within the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex following the completion of the main temple's flag-hoisting. Hanuman Jayanti is observed with special worship of Lord Hanuman, making the ceremony particularly significant for devotees and the local community.

Recent 'Surya Tilak' and Ram Navratri Celebrations

This upcoming flag-hoisting follows the Surya Tilak of Ram Lalla held at the main sanctum of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple four days ago, continuing the ongoing celebrations at the complex.

The 'Surya Tilak' occurred exactly at noon, when a beam of sunlight fell precisely on the forehead of Ram Lalla's idol, forming a celestial tilak, during which priests offered special prayers.

On March 27, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers to Lord Ram and virtually observed the Surya Tilak ceremony at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple.

The nine-day Ram Navratri festival, culminating on Ram Navami, marks the birthday of Lord Ram. Throughout the festival, all nine days are devoted to honouring the nine incarnations of Goddess Shakti, celebrated with rituals, prayers, and cultural events across India.

The flag-hoisting at the Hanuman Temple is expected to draw large gatherings and reinforce the spiritual and cultural significance of Hanuman Jayanti in the holy city of Ayodhya.
