In a second hit-and–run case in the capital Delhi, this year, two people were killed and one was critically injured within 5 minutes.

The accused 21-year-old Rishabh Rawat was returning from a party early in the morning yesterday, driving a Honda City, when his vehicle went on hitting multiple people on the road.
Rishabh, a resident of Delhi’s Janakpuri area, was said to be driving his father’s car at the time of the accident. His car speeding over 100kmph hitting three people within a stretch of 1.5kms before he was nabbed.
His first victim, Kameshwar Prasad’s body was thrown several metres away when the car hit him. That did not stop Rishabh, he went on to hit another 40-year old man Santosh.
The Honda city then hit property dealer Ashwani Anand, a senior citizen, who was out for his morning walk.

Rishabh was stopped by a police patrol team and it is reported that Rishabh was in an inebriated state when arrested. The police have also seized the vehicle involved in the hit and run. Liquor bottles have been recovered from his car. Delhi police have charged him with culpable homicide, which punishes the guilty stringently.
Rishabh is pursuing his BBA from a city college in Delhi.
