Rajasthan BJP president CP Joshi slammed Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for calling the BJP and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) "fascist", saying the Congress leader has an "RSS phobia" and that is why he makes such statements.

Honouring terrorists and cursing patriots is the reason for the Congress' downfall, he said. Joshi said the chief minister should introspect because his party MLAs accuse him of being a "fascist".
"He calls himself Gandhi of Mewar but his entire five years were spent in the fight for the chair. He is afraid of his defeat in the 2023 elections, therefore Gehlot is saying anything to get noticed by Rahul Gandhi," he said.

On Thursday, CM Gehlot lashed out at BJP and the RSS over the Supreme Court verdict on Maharashtra political crisis and said that they are not concerned about it. Speaking to reporters, CM Gehlot said, "BJP and RSS are fascists, they don't care what the Supreme Court verdict is."
This comes after the Supreme Court said that it could not disqualify the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government and rejected the submission to reinstate Uddhav Thackeray as chief minister because the latter had chosen to resign instead of facing a test of strength in the assembly.
