Dilip Ghosh said, "It is not good that big leaders like Adhir Ranjan are not being respected in the Congress party." If Chaudhary leaves the Congress and joins the BJP, he is welcome. Adhir Babu is our old leader. He is a senior. Why is he getting insulted in that party? Doors open, can come anytime.”

Abbas Siddiqui attacked the Left-Congress alliance at a public meeting last Sunday (February 28) without taking names. He said, "I have come to ask for sharing, not begging." On Monday (March 1), Siddiqui claimed that a Congress leader was in touch with the BJP and the Trinamool. He said that he will support the TMC in exchange for positions after the vote.
