Babbar Khalsa International terrorists arrested in Delhi

The Delhi Police have arrested two terrorists of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) after a brief exchange of fire near Nirankari colony.

New Delhi: Two Babbar Khalsa International terrorists were arrested on September 7 in northwest Delhi. The duo was arrested after a brief exchange of fire near Nirankari colony.

The Delhi Police seized a large number of arms and ammunition from the arrested terrorists. According to the police, they recovered six pistols and 40 cartridges from terrorists.

The police added that the terrorists are wanted in many other cases in Punjab.

The accused are identified as Bhupender alias Dilawar Singh and Kulwant Singh.

Five days ago, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) filed a charge sheet against five people for their alleged association with the banned Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP), an affiliate of ISIS, according to reports.

Those charge-sheeted are identified as Jahanzaib Sami of Delhi; Hina Bashir, Abdullah Basith, Sadiya Anwar Shaikh and Nabeel Siddick Khatri.
