Cyclist shot by bikers in another Bihar road rage case
The victim, identified as Anil Paswan, is a construction labourer and he was returning back home on Monday night, when the incident took place, the police. Paswan was riding through a narrow lane and there was no space as a four-wheeler was blocking the road.
The unidentified men on a bike kept honking and later they stopped him near a secluded place. "They beat me up and when I tried to resist, they shot at me," the victim told the police.
The three bikers then fled the scene. The police have launched a manhunt.
This is the second incident this month in Bihar where somebody has opened fire on another after a dispute over right of way.
On May 7, the son of a ruling Janata Dal (United) lawmaker shot dead a 19-year-old schoolboy in Gaya town after an altercation over overtaking.
