The pair has impressed all with their travel experiences. Adventurous Monique's adaptability to extreme climatic conditions has left thousands stunned.

24-year-old Soudée and Monique have been sailing since May 2014 and the travel enthusiast hen has also laid eggs during the voyage.

The globetrotting hen also loves surfing and skateboarding along with Soudée. The duo spent four months as winter prisoners on the icy cold waters of Greenland without any communication, surviving on corn and rice.

Having sailed for over 130 days, the travel buddies now plan to cross the North West passage in the Arctic Ocean that will make Soudée the youngest person and Monique the first hen ever to accomplish the feat.
