FollowTop-rated PGA golfer Eldrick 'Tiger' Woods suffered a car accident in California following which he suffered multiple leg injuries.
First responders said that Woods was conscious and able to speak when they first arrived at the scene. Woods, who was taken off the crashed vehicle with a hydraulic spreader tool, was unable to stand on his own.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff said that at 7:12 AM local time his department responded to a single-vehicle rollover traffic collision on the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Ranchos Palos Verdes.

Investigators say it is possible that the 2021 Hyundai Genesis SUV that Woods was driving was probably travelling at a greater speed than normal. That because the hit a centre divider and flew several hundred feet before it rested.
There is a possibility that Woods may have lost control of the car on the road that is downhill and has slopes and curves.
Later, Woods sent out an official statement on his Twitter handle, stating that he has undergone a surgical procedure in his lower right leg. Besides, he is also awake, responsive, and under-recovery at the hospital, while he also thanked his supporters for the best wishes.
Indian doctor Anish Mahajan is treating him at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. "Mr Woods suffered significant orthopaedic injuries to his right lower extremity that were treated during emergency surgery by Orthopaedic trauma specialists at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center. Comminuted open fractures affecting both the upper and lower portions of the tibia and fibula bones were stabilized by inserting a rod into the tibia. Additional injuries to the bones of the foot and ankle were stabilized with a combination of screws and pins. Trauma to the muscle and soft-tissue of the leg required surgical release of the covering of the muscles to relieve pressure due to swelling," said Dr Mahajan in the statement.
