Matchday 10 commitments of the 2021-22 English Premier League (EPL) were held on Saturday, as the top teams were in action on this day. All of them produced mixed results, while it caused some shuffle in the points table. The tie involving Leicester City-Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur-Manchester United were the big ones, as we present the review of it all.

Arsenal upsets Leicester
Sixth-placed Arsenal produced a top show against tenth-placed Leicester City away from home, at the King Power Stadium. Goals from Gabriel (5) and Emile Smith-Rowe (18) did the damage in the first half. Although the Foxes did a great job at the defence thereon, the Gunners too did not allow Leicester to get back into the game.

Liverpool held by Brighton and Hove Albion at home
Second-placed Liverpool had to grind through as it settled for a 2-2 draw to seventh-placed Brighton at Anfield. The Reds were initially ahead, with Jordan Henderson (4) and Sadio Mané (24) striking early. However, Enock Mwepu (41) pulled one back as Liverpool led 2-1 at half-time. Leandro Trossard (65) levelled it in the second half, while the Seagulls defended it well thereon to keep it 2-2 at full time.

Crystal Palace upsets Manchester City
Third-placed defending champion City was a clear favourite to win this clash at home, in the Etihad Stadium. However, 13th-placed Palace had some other plans. Wilfried Zaha (6) put the Eagles ahead soon. At the stroke of half-time, Aymeric Laporte was handed a red card, as Palace led 1-0. While the Cityzens displayed some resilience in the second half, it still wasn't enough, while Conor Gallagher (88) sealed the deal.

Chelsea dumps Newcastle United
Table topper European champion Chelsea travelled to take on 19th-placed Newcastle United. It had to be an easy ride for The Blues, and it eventually turned out to be so, as it dominated the Magpies 3-0, thanks to strikes from Reece James (65 & 77) and Jorginho (81).

United up the ante with Tottenham retreat
Under pressure, fifth-placed United was looking to make a statement against eighth-placed Tottenham, as it rightfully did so, thanks to a dominating footballing display. It all began with Cristiano Ronaldo (39), followed by Édinson Cavani (64) and Marcus Rashford (86), as the Red Devils sealed the most-wanted deal. Although the pressure has somewhat subsided on Ole Gunnar Solskjær, Spurs will have some thinking to do over Nuno Espírito Santo.
