Did you know your sleeping posture can affect your skin? Read this
Have you ever consider that your sleeping posture can actually harm your skin? Well, no, right, but it does? Read here to know more about it.
We all have a pattern while sleeping. Some prefer the left side, some right, some sleep on their back straight. But have you noticed that lousy sleeping positions can leave marks, wrinkles on your face? It can even affect long-term on your skin. Here's how you can avoid them.
Side preference
If you prefer sleeping on your sides, then don't rub your face on the pillowcase, as it might make that part of the skin dry causing structured lines. So you can either switch your sides while sleeping, or you can get a silk pillowcase as it tends to be softer and smoother.
Sleeping on the stomach
A lot of people prefer burying their face on the pillow sleeping on their stomach. But, it's harmful as your eyes that gather liquid will make it puffy. If you have oily skin, then the pillow will obstruct the pores of that part of the skin buried in the pillow cover.
Sleeping straight, depending on your back?
Well, as per beauty and lifestyle consultants sleeping or resting on your back is a perfect position not to harm your skin. In this way, you are not touching your pillow or pillowcase, nor you are accumulating the liquid of your eyes to make it look puffy.
Sleeping in a soldier's posture
If you sleep in a soldier's posture, it is not ideal, as many beauty experts suggest. In this position, you are resting on your back, and your hands are down close to your body. At least 8 per cent of people prefer this position. It might get you snoring, or you can even get restless nights with dark eye patches. Would you like that? If, no then change your sleeping pattern immediately!
