West Bengal Imam Association slams Asaduddin Owaisi
The Bengal Imam Association on Wednesday (January 6) lashed out at Lok Sabha MP Asaduddin Owaisi. The association members said that their community needs no Muslim leader from outside the state.

<p>Mohammed Yahiya said, “The Bengali Muslims and Bengalis have never got divided along religious lines. We strongly condemn the politics played by Asaduddin Owaisi surrounding the Muslims in the state. We do not want religious and caste-based politics. We cannot tolerate religious fanaticism.”</p>

<p>Mohammed Yahiya also accused Owaisi of helping the BJP by dividing Muslim votes. He said that Owaisi is helping the BJP by trying to divide the Muslim votes in Bengal. </p>
