West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee allocates Rs 200 crore for Netaji monument in state budget
While presenting the state budget on Friday (February 5), West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee allocated Rs 100 crore to set up an Azad Hind Monument in New Town to honour Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 125th birth anniversary.

<p>Mamata Banerjee also proposed to set aside Rs 5 crore for a Netaji State Planning Commission and Rs 10 crore to raise a Netaji battalion in the Kolkata Armed Police.</p>
