The 84-year-old Karnataka ‘Lake Man’ Kaamegowda has tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19)
He has been admitted to the Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) and is under medical observation
According to reports, he had leg injuries and was doing the hospital rounds for the last few days
On Monday (July 20), he was shifted to MIMS in Mandya, where his swabs were collected
And his test results came positive for COVID-19
Kaamegowda has become the talk of the nation since his remarkable story was narrated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his monthly Mann Ki Baat radio address
Kaamegowda has constructed 16 ponds at his native village. He was recently praised by PM Modi
