Ahead of polls, BJP plans to launch five mega rath yatras in West Bengal
The Bharatiya Janata Party has planned to organize five mega rath yatras in West Bengal ahead of the assembly polls. The party has sought permission from the state government to organize the rath yatras.
<p>In a letter to Chief Secretary Alapan Bandopadhyay, BJP state vice-president Pratap Banerjee wrote, “At the first week of February, the BJP is intending to take out five rallies, as part of the rath yatra in the state.”</p>

<p>According to BJP sources, party’s national president JP Nadda is expected to launch the first rath yatra on February 6. All five rath yatras have been named parivartan yatras.<br /> </p>
