Since Covid-19 broke out worldwide last year, it seems like our life now only depends on masks and hand sanitisers. Whenever we go out, we always keep a mask and sanitiser with us. But did you know that it can have harmful effects?

Sanitisers have some dangerous ingredients that can put you in great danger. It can make you lose your eyesight. According to a recent report stated by FDA, sanitisers have a few alcohol combinations that can lead to this damage. 

Ethyl is used in many sanitisers, which later becomes methanol and methanol is known as wood alcohol. FDA released a report where they mentioned 69 names of this sort.

Methanol compounded sanitisers are suggested to not use as they can lead to headaches, vomiting, blindness, loss of consciousness and coma. 

You can use ethanol-based sanitiser but try to avoid methanol-based sanitisers even though it's cheaper.
