How to detect coronavirus in your kid's body and protect them? Know from experts
The country is still fighting and healing from the second wave of Covid-19, that the third wave is already here. And this time, the kids might get affected terribly.
The second wave of coronavirus has almost taken everything from us. The rate of asymptomatic kids is much higher in this phase than the previous one, and now if the third wave arrives, things will turn out more dangerously. Here's what you can do.
Last year, the older and the sick people got infected, this second wave has targetted the young ones, and by the third wave, it will attack the children. Various states have already started taking necessary measures to protect children from getting affected by the virus.
For now, there's no vaccination or medication for the children to save them from the virus. So, the parents have to boost their kids' immune system.
Till now, 5.6 per cent of children have been detected with the asymptomatic coronavirus. Here's what the parents can follow as stated by the Ministry of Health guidelines.
The main symptom of Covid-19 is fever. If your kid has a fever of 102 for three days with body aches and shivers, do not treat it as viral fever. Be extra careful.
Check your child's oxygen level. If it drops below 94, it may show moderate symptoms, and if it goes down to 90, then it should be considered seriously.
If your kid gets tired very often or get diarrhoea, he or she needs to be tested for Covid-19.
