Rhea Chakraborty, who made her debut in Bollywood with Mere Dad Ki Maruti, was molested recently inside her building premises. The pretty actress has filed a police complaint accusing a man of groping her in the elevator.
Kalki Koechlin: In an interview to NDTV, Kalki revealed that she was sexually abused as a child. The actress however added that she didn't want to declare to the world about this specific event in her life as it just becomes a "shocking headline" but somebody "who has gone through CSA (child sexual abuse) is not a headline." Kalki also said, "For me, it's not a one day headline, it's something that's a reality I have lived with for a long time."
Sonam Kapoor: In a roundtable conversation with journalist Rajeev Masand, actress Sonam Kapoor said, “I know I have been molested when I was younger. And it was very traumatising.” I remember the incident so clearly. I was going to watch a movie starring Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar and I went with my friends to Gaiety Galaxy theatre. We were 13-14 year olds and we were sitting in the stalls. We used to hold each others’ shoulders while walking in. I was entering the last because I was the tallest obviously. So I was holding my friend Ekta’s shoulder. There was a man who came from behind and just held my breasts. That time, I didn’t have breasts, but I started shaking and shivering, I didn’t know what was going on. I started crying right there and I didn’t speak about it. I just sat there and finished watching the film. I felt like I had done something wrong, for the longest time. I know so many of my friends who have gone through something like that over and over again."
Tamannah Bhatia was harassed by Seemandhra agitators in Vizag airport last August. The agitators stopped her and asked her to say, “Jai Samaikhyandhra.”
An MP molested Shweta Menon at a public event. The Malayalam actress had filed a formal complaint against MP Peetambhara Kuroop but later withdrew after the minister apologised.
In October 2005, Katrina went to Kolkata to attend a function which was organised by South Kolkata’s Durga puja committee. Just after the show got over, the crowd pushed her security personnel and much to Katrina’s horror, allegedly started molesting her.

Gauahar Khan was slapped by a man on the sets of the reality show, India’s Raw Star in December 2014. It was said that the man slapped her because she was wearing ‘short clothes’.
Sushmita Sen was molested by a huge mob gathered outside a jewellery store in Pune. She was invited to inaugurate the store.
Samantha Akkineni was groped by three youth when she was in Tirupati to inaugurate a private store. An infuriated Samantha yelled back at the offenders who disappeared from the spot immediately.

Nagma, who is contesting Lok Sabha election in 2014 from Meerut, had to suffer molestation by her own party man recently. Local MLA Gajraj Sharma kissed her in public and tried to get even more close to the lady.
