The actress however added that she didn't want to declare to the world about this specific event in her life as it just becomes a "shocking headline" but somebody "who has gone through CSA (child sexual abuse) is not a headline." Kalki also said, "For me, it's not a one day headline, it's something that's a reality I have lived with for a long time."</p>

And it was very traumatising.” I remember the incident so clearly. I was going to watch a movie starring Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar and I went with my friends to Gaiety Galaxy theatre. We were 13-14 year olds and we were sitting in the stalls. We used to hold each others’ shoulders while walking in. I was entering the last because I was the tallest obviously. So I was holding my friend Ekta’s shoulder. There was a man who came from behind and just held my breasts. That time, I didn’t have breasts, but I started shaking and shivering, I didn’t know what was going on. I started crying right there and I didn’t speak about it. I just sat there and finished watching the film. I felt like I had done something wrong, for the longest time. I know so many of my friends who have gone through something like that over and over again."</p>
