Money Heist has become one of the most loved and followed shows on Netflix right now, to the extent that many fans are trying to cast actors from their native countries in separate versions of the show.
It has also gathered a cult following in India. Indians too have not been behind in the trend, with many online polls running to determine which star will be cast as what character from Money Heist if a remake is ever made here.
Well, to end all speculations, director Alex Rodrigo himself has picked his choice of cast for the Indian version of the show.
During a recent interaction with Behindwoods, Rodrigo said Tamil actor Vijay seemed best to play the Professor.
Choosing from pictures of popular stars, he picked Tamil actor Ajith Kumar to play Bogota and said Shah Rukh Khan would fit the bill for Berlin.
He picked Ranveer Singh and Mahesh Babu as Denver and Tamayo respectively and Suriya as Suarez.
Excited fans of actor Vijay have been taking to social media to express their joy and comment on how the actor fits the role.
In the hugely popular series, a criminal mastermind who goes by "The Professor" has a plan to pull off the biggest heist in recorded history — to print billions of euros in the Royal Mint of Spain.
