Nayanthara, Vignesh Shivan love-story: Actress earlier dated Simbu, Prabhu Deva; says Vignesh is different

Nayanthara has finally spoken about her relationship with Vignesh Shivan, marriage and engagement.

South lady superstar, Nayanthara who never comes for movie promotions or public events, has recently opened her personal life at a TV chat show.

The actress lately has a candid chat with Divyadarshini on Vijay TV where she talked about boyfriend Vignesh Shivan and their future. The interview aired on Sunday, 15 August.

Nayanthara talked about the qualities Vignesh Shivan has that she loved the most. The actress says Vignesh supports her to do work and does not like to limit her success. 

Behinwood quotes her as she said, "I have not talked about Vignesh at many places. The men I have met normally think about how to stop a woman's progress. I started working a lot after Vignesh came into my life. He makes me feel that I am good at what I do,"

Nayanthara also added that he is very caring and loving, "Another thing is that he takes care of his mom and sister so well. Normally, men don't care for their families as much as women, but he's not like that. It's been six years and he calls them every day to make sure they have eaten,"

Talking about marriage and live-in relationships, she said that don't judge people based on individuals' choices. Nayanthara says, "Nobody should say that this is right or wrong. Do what is comfortable for you."

When the host can be seen asking Nayanthara about the ring she was wearing on her ring finger, to reply to the question, the actress openly confessed that it's her engagement ring. She was seen blushing while talking about Vignesh on the show.

In the past, Nayanthara was in a relationship with Tamil star Simbu and later Prabhu Deva. It was also reported that Nayan and Prabhu Deva were planning to marry, but she had to quit acting. Later, they broke up and it was on national headlines. Later she fell in love with Vignesh Shivan on the sets of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, which he was directing. 

Both bonded will on the sets and started dating after a few months. A few months back, an social media user asked Vignesh about his marriage, to which he replied, “I am saving money for the marriage, and I will wait for the corona crisis to end.” 

Nayanthara is currently busy with Netrikann, directed by Milind Rau. The film was released on Hotstar on August 13. Nayanthara also has movies like Annaatthe, Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal and Aaradugula Bullet in her kitty.
