Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut offered a glimpse to her fans as she preps for her upcoming political drama Emergency, where she will play the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

In the political drama, Kangana will play Gandhi's role and wants to get into the character's skin. In one of the videos, the actress gave a glimpse of her office and wrote, "Guess what is going on in @manikarnikafilms?."
Along with another video, she wrote, "Body scans for film Emergency, time to get into Madam Prime Minister Indira Gandhi Ji's skin." Earlier Kangana revealed that the film is not a biopic and announced that many prominent actors would participate.
After completing the shoot of Thalaivi, Kangana had come on board with another project with a political background.
"Its, a grand period film, to be precise a political drama that will help my generation to understand the socio-political landscape of current India," Kangana had said in a statement released by her office. Apart from Thalaivi, she has Tejas, Dhakkad, and Manikarnika Returns: The Legends of Didda in the pipeline.
