Here's what Kangana Ranaut has to say about Samantha Akkineni’s performance in 'The Family Man 2' trailer

Kangana Ranaut was very impressed with South actress Samantha Akkineni’s performance in the little glimpse she got from The Family Man 2 trailer.

Yesterday, Manoj Bajpayee's The Family Man 2 trailer starring  Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Sharad Kelkar and Samantha Akkineni finally released. The first season of The Family Man released in 2019 and created a fandom of its own. 

The trailer of Season 2 garnered a whopping 5 million in 5 hours, trending on #1, and that is an impressive feat and a first for any OTT show. It just goes to show the crazy fandom and their sky-rocketing anticipation because of the two-year wait. 

A web series resonates with millions of viewers, who kept watching the first season throughout the two years to keep in touch with the story. 

The award-winning Amazon Original Series marks the digital debut of South superstar Samantha Akkineni who joins the stellar cast. Last night Samantha was trending on Twitter because of the same. Fans and critics were going gaga over her performance. 

Samantha will be playing the role of a Sri Lankan Tamilian named Raaji. 

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has also lauded Samantha for her performance. Kangana took to her Instagram stories to share a screenshot of Samantha from The Family Man 2 trailer, and praised Samantha. 

She wrote, “This girl has my heart.” Samantha shared Kangana’s post and thanked her for the praise. 

This is not the first time Kangana had praised Samantha. Last month, the Queen actress called Sam the ‘epitome of woman empowerment’. 

Earlier in March, Samantha had also shared Kangana’s Thalaivi trailerand had called it outstanding. She wrote, “#ThalaiviTrailer is outstanding @KanganaTeam You are the bravest, most daring and indisputably the most talented actress of our generation #Vijay sir goosebumps stuff just goosebumps stuff. Can’t wait to witness this magic in the theatre."
