FollowIt is more than three decades since Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan tied the knot. And yet, after all these years, the couple remains to be one of India's most talked about and admired Bollywood couples.
Shah is the king of romance, and we can see the proof in his many movies like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai to Veer Zaara to Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, and more. Not just in reel life, but in real life, he carries the same impression to be a passionate lover.
Gauri first met Khan in 1984 in Delhi, before the start of his successful career in showbiz. Later the couple married in 1991 in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony. Now both are proud parents of three kids, Aryan, Suhana and AbRam.
In an interview, Shah Rukh Khan opened up about his wife Gauri Khan and the relationship they shared. When asked whether he is scared of his wife, he said that he can’t really do anything if people feel that he is scared of Gauri
He added,“Toi koi logo aisa samajhte honge ki mein darta hu toh very happy, unko aisa lagta ho, koi samjhta hai buhut Pyaar karta hoonga, toh unko aisa ... jo hum dono ke beech mein hain woh hum dono ko maloom hai so if somebody feels I am scared of my wife so…” (Some people think I fear my wife, so I'm happy about it while some think I love my wife... we know what is between us so if somebody feels I am scared of my wife so...)
Despite their hectic schedules, Khan and Gauri always manage to spend some quality time together. From family vacations to attending parties together, those moments of togetherness matter the most.
No marriage is perfect, but those who want to stay will make it flawless. Shah Rukh once shared on a television show, “I started shooting for Dil Aashna Hai in June and we got married in October. Our honeymoon was on the sets of the movie.” Khan couldn’t have done that without Gauri’s support.
