As per a report Amrita Singh was spotted with an engagement ring on her finger in New York, while she was dating Ravi Shastri.

Likewise, there was one such love affair which grabbed headlines during 80s when cricketing legend Ravi Shastri and beautiful actress Amrita Singh started dating.
It is said that Ravi Shastri met Amrita Singh at an event and both were smitten by each other. Both exchanged numbers and started going on coffee dates, etc. Also on few occasions, Amrita accompanied Ravi on his cricket tours. Shastri too was spotted at her film sets quite often.
Not just that they were also posed for a magazine cover together in 1986. According to Bollywoodshaadis.com, Amrita was also spotted with an engagement ring in her finger in New York.
But soon they parted ways. It was said that Ravi wanted a homely wife, while Amrita wasn't willing to let go of success and filmy career so quickly.
Ravi had once said, "I definitely don't want an actress wife. I am chauvinistic. Her home should be her first priority."
Later, Ravi tied the knot with Ritu in 1990. Amrita started dating her co-star Sunny Deol. Finally, Amrita and Saif tied the knot in 1991 but separated ways in 2004.
