The film helped to explore and question the very relationship of a man and a woman in marriage and also gender equality, it was an engaging and enchanting film.
Chhapaak
Chhapaak was definitely the 'woman film of the year', starring Deepika Padukone. The actor played the role of an acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal, and her struggle through life in quest of justice. Padukone called it one of her most difficult roles to play. The film also starred Vikrant Massey.
