Alia Bhatt has always been open about having a crush on her all time favourite actor Ranbir Kapoor. Little did we know that someday they will start dating and become one of the stunning couple of Bollywood.

Long time back Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted to cast the duo in Balika Vadhu and they even did a photoshoot together for it.

At the Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year Award in 2017, Ranbir revealed that he did a photoshoot with Alia Bhatt, and has been her fans ever since. He even stated that he was blown away by watching Alia's acting in Highway.

Amid the conversation Alia revealed her first meeting with Ranbir Kapoor when she was 11 years old. "I think I was only 11 years old when I first met Ranbir, who used to assist Sanjay Leela Bhansali back then. I had to do a photoshoot with him. I was so shy because I had to keep my head on his shoulder. And I could'nt do it, because it was a really shy moment for me."

Alia called Ranbir a very big supporter of her career and how she has respected and admired him all these years. "I have always been a Ranbir loyalist since Saawariya and it has never changed," she said.

Well that was a shy and cute moment shared by  Ranbir and Alia back in time.Now it's been over two years that they are in a loving romantic relationship. Fans will get to see them together for the firts time in Ayan Mukherji's Brahmastra, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan.
