Indian cricketers earn handsome bucks as they tend to own luxurious homes. MS Dhoni has his bungalow in Ranchi, which is state of the art. Also, Virat Kohli owns a luxurious 4 BHK unit in the posh area of Worli, in Mumbai, along with his Bollywood wife Anushka Sharma.
Cricket has become an expensive sport nowadays, especially in India. Furthermore, with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) being the richest in the world, Indian cricketers earn huge bucks, as they go on to lead a luxurious lifestyle.
Speaking of a rich lifestyle, one of the primary needs of the cricketers has to be their house. While most of the cricketers have a big house of their own, the successful ones go on to own luxurious ones, which is a heaven in itself.
Cricketers around the globe have time and again displayed their luxury with their houses, making us envy them. On the same note, we take a look at some Indian cricketers, who are leading a lavish lifestyle in their expensive homes.
Virat Kohli: The Indian skipper is the second richest active Indian cricketer in the world. With a net worth of $26 million, he, along with his Bollywood wife Anushka Sharma, owns a deluxe 5 BHK unit in the posh area of Worli, in Mumbai. The name of the apartment happens to be Omkar 1973, as he lives in Tower C of the 7,171-square-foot apartment. His unit is on the 35th floor, which gives a bird's-eye view of Mumbai City, and an enchanting view of the Arabian sea. The unit costs around ₹34 crore, with expensive interiors and everything.
Yuvraj Singh: Interestingly, Yuvraj and Kohli are neighbours in the same apartment. However, he has managed to upscale Kohli in this. While he too resides in Tower C, Yuvraj has owned two units on the 29th floor, converting it to a massive 8 BHK, which cost him a staggering ₹60 crore. He lives there along with his celebrity wife Hazel Keech, while the interiors are as elegant as it can get.
Rohit Sharma: The classy Indian opener, too, happens to be one of the richest Indian cricketers currently. With a net worth of $16.6 million, he owns a 4 BHK unit in the Ahuja Apartments of Worli. It has an area of 6,000-square-foot and is situated on the 29th floor, with a 270-degree view of the Arabian sea. The interiors are opulent to the fullest, as his massive IPL contract, along with the BCCI contract and a number of endorsement deals have made him rich enough to afford it.
Sachin Tendulkar: The first god of cricket deserves to live in the god-style, as he owns a massive 6,000 square feet five-storied bungalow in Bandra, Mumbai. He continues to be the richest cricketer to date, with a net worth of $115 Million, while his house costs around ₹7.15 crore. Interestingly, it possesses a couple of basements, with one of them entirely dedicated to his collection of cars. The ground floor displays his achievements, while the second and third floor is dedicated to guests and his kids. He and his wife stay on the fifth floor, along with a swimming pool on the terrace. Heaven indeed!
MS Dhoni: The former Indian skipper is the richest among active cricketers today. With a net worth of $111 million, his state of the art bungalow/farmhouse in Ranchi costs around ₹6 crore, which took three years to be built. Built on a seven-acre land, the house has five to six rooms, with gym, swimming pool, an indoor stadium to ample greenery and garden. It is a five-star hotel in itself, while the house is named 'Kailashpati'. It is also the perfect home for his immense collection of automobiles that includes numerous cars and bikes.
