As both Kohli and Rohit get set to lead Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Monday night, fans are wondering as to how things would work between the two. Also, as a throwback, we have come across something which might seem ominous.
It was in 2013, when Kohli was on vacation in Mumbai, following the tour of Zimbabwe. He had gone for a movie, along with a girl. As the media caught hold of the duo, pictures were clicked.
Although Kohli was comfortable with the cameras being around, the girl wasn't, as she happened to hide her face with her hand and a newspaper. Nonetheless, it was too late, as the pictures had already hit the newspapers the next morning, and the girl was identified as none other than Ritika.
To make things clear, as to what was Kohli doing with Ritika back then, it is to be noted that she was a sports manager at the time, who happened to be managing Kohli since IPL 2010. Despite speculations that there could be a brewing love affair between the two, they remained good friends and kept things professional.
Meanwhile, Ritika was revealed to be a childhood friend of Rohit, as the two tied the knot in 2015, while they have a daughter together. Kohli was linked to Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma since 2014, as the two got hitched in 2017, while they are expecting their first child in December.
