Indian cricketers make a name for themselves playing the sport. Consequently, they often miss out on completing their education. Yet, they go on to become highly successful in all aspects of their life and even get married to top women, who happen to be more qualified.
Indian cricketers might be treated as celebrities and considered one of the top men in the country. However, it is owing to their cricketing commitments they tend to fall out on their education and academics.
While some cricketers are indeed well qualified, some hardly go on to complete their schooling. Nonetheless, their success in cricket allows them to lead a healthy life, while they also get married to some of the top women.
However, that does not necessarily mean that their wives, too, do not have enough education. Consequently, we take a look at some of the cricketers, whose wives are more qualified than them.
Rohit Sharma: The prolific Indian opener has been married to his longtime girlfriend, Ritika Sajdeh, since 2015. As for her education, she happens to be a graduate in sports management from Mumbai, as she has also worked as a sports manager, having managed Virat Kohli previously. As for Rohit, he has just completed his education until the 12th grade.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar: The rich Indian seamer got married to Nupur Nagar in 2017. As far as her education goes, she has completed her Masters in Business Administration (MBA). At the same time, she also worked as an engineer with a multi-national company (MNC) in Greater Noida. Meanwhile, Bhuvi just managed to complete his schooling.
Shikhar Dhawan: The reliable Indian opener got married to Australia-based amateur boxer Ayesha Mukherjee in 2012. She has completed her graduation from Melbourne, while Dhawan just happens to have completed his grade 10.
Virat Kohli: The Indian skipper has made headlines following his marriage to Bollywood bombshell, Anushka Sharma. As for Kohli, he has completed his grade 12. However, for Anushka, it is even better, as he happens to be a graduate before she decided to pursue her modelling and acting career.
MS Dhoni: The legendary former Indian skipper had to leave education at early days. Although he did complete his grade 12, he dropped out of his college to pursue cricket, full-time. It was in 2010 when he tied the knot with Sakshi Dhoni. As for her, she happens to be a graduate in Hotel Management and even worked as an intern in Taj Bengal, Kolkata, where she met first met him.
