The combination photo showed the physical state of the recruits from their arrival at the training camp and their toned physique ten weeks later.
Many had doubted the veracity of the viral photograph.
Some questioned if achieving six-pack abs was really possible in 10 weeks.
Well, the answer is yes. The Border Security Force confirmed that the photograph is indeed genuine.
The photograph was taken at the Subsidiary Training Centre of the BSF in Manipur's Chaurachandpur.
The Centre said, "Transformation of physical appearance is not merely done by your fitness or endurance, but has more to do with how determined you are. We at STC work hard to make our trainees think in this way. The result is evident in 10 weeks."
The Centre imparts basic training to recruits of BSF units located in the northeast. Since its inception, 228 batches of constables have been passed out after basic training from here.
