When it comes to Rajamouli, the director, his films are noted for their technical finesse and craft. He is known for directing high fantasy celluloid works such as Magadheera, Eega, Baahubali part 1 and 2. In 2016, he was honoured with the Padma Shri for his contributions towards the field of Art and cinema.
On October 10, he turned 4. The director was born into a filmi family. His father and brother are working as a scriptwriter and music director respectively. He married Rama Rajamouli, who is four years elder to him and is her second husband.

According to reports, in the year 2000, Rama and her then-husband filed for a divorce, which led to a bitter settlement. However, she got the sole custody of her son Karthikeya.
During this tough phase of her life, Rajamouli stood by her side, and over the course of time, he realised that his feelings towards Rama were only growing day by day and which led him to propose Rama. Eventually, Rajamouli and Rama got married in court in a very private affair. In an interview, Rajamouli said that he had no trouble getting along with Rama's son, Karthikeya, from her previous marriage.
After marrying Rajamouli, Rama came into her own. It so happened that once, Rajamouli was working on the Telugu film Simhadri and was very disappointed with his costume designer. However, he wasn’t able to figure out what was it that he didn’t like about the costumes. Rama immediately came to his rescue and told him exactly what he wanted to hear. Since then, Rama has been the costume designer for most of Rajamouli’s films like Baahubali 1 and 2.
In Rama's interviews, she clearly said that she didn’t become a costume designer because she wanted to, but because Rajamouli wanted to work with someone who could read his mind. Rama has always been vocal about her awe towards her husband’s art of work. She said, “He has the command of each department. He’s the captain of the ship literally. He’s very clear about what exactly he wants and knows how to get it.”
Karthikeya, is following in his father's footsteps. He is now actively working in the field of cinematography. The couple has also adopted a girl child, named Mayookha.
Looking at them we can surely say, they both are made for each other, and their commitment towards understanding each other is perhaps the best part of the Rama-Rajamouli marriage.
