Thalapathy 64 Pooja: Film goes on floors; is Tamil superstar Vijay looking at 2 releases in 2020?
Thalapathy 64's shoot started rolling today with a small pooja that was held in Chennai. The makers of Tamil superstar Vijay's next are looking to release the film in April 2020. What about the traditional Diwali release of the star?
FollowChennai: The day began with a small pooja that set the stage for Thalapathy's 64th film. It was no surprise when #Thalapathy64Pooja started trending on social media.
While fans are excited with their favourite hero's Diwali release Bigil this year, their expectations with Vijay's next seems to be ten times more. "It's a given that Bigil will be a super duper hit. We will see Vijay in dual roles. But we will definitely see our hero in two films next year," said Raviraj, a die-hard fan of Vijay.
The Bigil hero is known to deliver films once in a year every Diwali. "If Thalapathy 64 will release on April 14 during Tamil New Year, then our idol will surely deliver a movie during Diwali as well in 2020," said Raviraj.
Thalapathy 64 is directed by Lokesh of Maanagaram fame. Lokesh is currently working on Kaithi's release. "Kaithi is touted to be action-packed. There is no doubt that Lokesh will make Thalapathy 64 an action-packed film tailor-made for Vijay," said Raviraj.
And when the star cast is heavy with popular actors like Vijay Sethupathi, fans are longing to see Vijay vs Vijay. Malavika Mohanan and Shanthnu will also feature in this film, for which Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music.
Right now, the countdown has begun for Bigil. "The movie lays emphasis on women power. The song Maatharey will be crucial to the movie and that scene will hold the main plot of the film, according to sources," said Raviraj.
Bigil means whistle, and fans are ready to hoot and whistle hoping that it will be a double dhamaka next year.
