Sandalwool actor Rakshit Shetty turns Sherlock Holmes with Tenali

Hemanth Rao and Rakshit had worked magic with the film Godhi Banna Sadharana Maikattu as the movie was critically acclaimed. Ever since then, Hemanth was waiting to make another movie with Rakshit and he prepared the story of Tenali.

Rakshit Shetty is back with a bang. After the victory of Kirik Party and much-awaited projects like Avane Srimannarayana, Charlie 777 and Richie, there is a news of Rakshit joining hands with Hemanth Rao for a film based on the life of a detective - Tenali.

Hemanth Rao and Rakshit had worked magic with the film Godhi Banna Sadharana Maikattu as the movie was critically acclaimed. Ever since then, Hemanth was waiting to make another movie with Rakshit and he prepared the story of Tenali.

When he narrated the story to Rakshit, the actor is said to have accepted it with excitement.

Currently, Hemanth is also busy with his movie Kavaludaari. So, after Hemanth finishes Kavaludaari, Rakshit will free himself from Charlie 777 and Avane Srimannarayana,  and the duo will sit to write the screenplay of Tenali.

Tenali is said to be the Kannada version of a Sherlock Holmes-like character. It is said that the story is based in 1947 era. As told to Suvarna News, Hemanth always wanted to present a detective story in a thrilling manner. Thus this movie Tenali will be shot in the background of independence struggle.

After the success of Kirik Party, Rakshit Shetty also has his kitty filled with new and exciting projects.
